The unseen and the ignored because "we flew from conversation." some ideas are also taken from the work of Sherry Turkle, "The Flight from Conversation". 🧷 we isolate ourselves, instead of truly connecting 🧷 we thought we are comforted, but the truth is we're talking with robots. 🧷 we are slowly letting the technology control us 🧷 we reduce the real human contact 🧷 we tend to be more lazy and waste most of our time especially on social media 🧷 we neglect the essence of true interactions for online technological connections And the list goes on. How about you? Do you have any idea about the negative effects of modern technology? Feel free to share your thoughts by commenting. ✍ Reference: Akram, W., & Kumar, R. (2017). I would rather have a conversation in personal because it's nice to have a companion right beside you. Being able to share and express one's thoughts and emotions with someone.
ReplyDeletei would rather have a conversation with someone personally or face to face because it is more realistic and also it is more easier to understand what a certain person feel if you would able to see it personally.
ReplyDeleteI would rather have a face to face conversation because you can feel or understand the feelings of that certain person. Unlike virtual conversation, you're not sure if the person you're talking to was showing his/her real emotions.
ReplyDeleteI would rather have a conversation personally because with it you will know how genuine the person is and it is more effective than online technologies.
ReplyDeleteI would rather have a conversation in personal because you'll know how sincere people are with their feelings and emotions.
ReplyDeleteI will depend on the situation. Yes conversation in personal is the best, because you can see the sincerity of someone whom you talk too. But in this pandemic situation, I will choose to have a conversation online.
ReplyDeleteI would rather have a face to face conversation than having a conversation online. It's really hard to talk to someone when you cannot see their faces or hear the tone of their voice.
